Global Spring: Transcultural Bachelor Ensemble – The Beauty of Existence
Global Music -ohjelman ensimmäisen vuoden opiskelijat esiintyvät osana Global Spring -festivaalia

Inspired by the cycles of life, the first-year bachelor students of Sibelius Academy´s Global Music program present a concert celebrating the beauty of existence. The ensemble is formed by a teacher and students from Tanzania, Iran, Cuba and Finland. The songs are composed by each student, varying from moving laments to danceable thoughts.
Created separately, but forged together, the songs reflect rich traditions and unique fusions between the different styles inside the ensemble. A loose theme is shared through the stories: wondering about life, death, decisions and the beauty of grief and joy. From traditional instruments to electronics, from longing to wondering, the concert invites you to feel the phenomena included in life.
