Le Refuge des Cordes
Le Refuge des Cordes is a room-sized interactive sonic sculpture. The aim of the work is to metamorphose the electric guitar into a sacred space. It is a meditation on the sanctity of technology.
Charles Quevillon, electric guitar
The sculpture is part of a solo performance by Quevillon, which will be shown each day at 1 pm during the gallery opening hours. The audience is limited to six people per show.
The work is part of ”The Immortal’s birthday”, an exhibition by visual artist Maija Tammi and composer/performer Charles Quevillon that combines Greek myths, spirituality, technology, scientific research, and the Hydra.
