Global Choir
Our energetic and multicultural rhythm music choir Global Choir explores styles and techniques from all over the world.
The Global Choir, focused on rhythm music, begun its activities at the Sibelius Academy in the autumn of 2016. It uses improvisation and voice painting techniques in its work.
The multicultural choir, open to all students of the Sibelius Academy, performs music based on vocal techniques, melodies and rhythmic traditions from around the world.
The choir is led by Merja ”Merzi” Rajala.
