The Sibelius Summer Academy is a summer study programme by the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki. It offers you the opportunity to get to know the educational environment, teaching faculty and facilities of Sibelius Academy, Uniarts Helsinki – one of the world’s best universities in performing arts.
As a participant, you get new perspectives on making and studying music. You recieve instruction from the world’s best music professionals and international networking opportunities in high-quality facilities of the Sibelius Academy.

The application procedure varies between individual courses. See the application deadlines and other details on the course pages.
What happens at masters classes? Come follow the teaching
Welcome to follow the master classes, where you will see visiting teachers in action. At the beginning of the day, the students have a joint group session where they warm up under the guidance of the teacher, after which the day continues with students’ individual lessons. Admission to other Brass @ Sibelius Summer Academy events is free, except the Academy Brass concert on 23th August.
Our facilities
We operate in world-class facilities in the middle of Helsinki, Finland. The Sibelius Summer Academy courses are organised in our buildings in the Uniarts, Helsinki’s Töölö campus.
