In my artistic research, I ask how listening in a queer body affects the process of making art and teaching visual arts. Being a queer body creates a situation from where I am in relation to the world, making art and my research. My research focuses on my experiences as an art student, an artist and a teacher. In my research, I describe my experiences with narrative and artistic methods. I examine social significance of the described experiences, relying on theoretical and artistic knowledge. I approach listening from a art pedagogical point of view. My intention is to deepen my relationship into the theories of dialogical, critical and intersectional feminist pedagogy and the concepts of feminist and gender research. With the help of these theories and concepts, I`ll examine my experiences and clarify my subject and my artistic work as part of research. The artistic methods of my research are photoperformance, drawing and working with alter egos, These methods enable me to react quickly if necessary. My works of art are bodily reactions and responses to what I hear.
