Puro Paju

Puro Paju (they/them) is a bassist, multi-instrumentalist and composer/arranger, specialising in Latin American and African rhythm cultures. Puro is the responsible teacher for pedagogy and global rhythmics studies at Global music department. In addition they teach transcultural ensemble and bass and are involved in intensive courses such as ICE (improvisation, communication & expression), Global choir leadership, youth projects and community engagement projects. Puro also collaborates with Music Education department e.g. in the course Music cultures of the world.
