Doctoral programme at the Academy of Fine Arts

The Dean of the Academy of Fine Arts has decided to admit the following eight (8) applicants (in alphabetical order) as Doctoral Students of the Academy of Fine Arts to complete a Doctor in Fine Arts degree, starting fall 2025:

Doctoral programme at the Theatre Academy

The Dean of the Theatre Academy has decided, in accordance with the proposal of the admissions jury of the Theatre Academy’s doctoral education, to approve the following  eight (8) applicants (in alphabetical order) and two (2) to reserve places to complete studies leading to the degree of Doctor of Arts (Dance), Doctor of Arts (Theatre and Drama) or Doctor of Arts (Art and Design) in the Theatre Academy’s Doc­toral Pro­gramme of Artis­tic Re­search in Per­form­ing Arts starting from autumn 2025.

The following two (2) applicants are accepted to reserve places in the given order:

  • applicant who does not want their name published

Rectification request

Applicants can apply for rectification of the admission decision from Uniarts Helsinki under the Universities Act (558/2009), section 82. The purpose of a written request for rectification is to give the applicant the possibility to appeal and request for rectification if there is a reason to believe that there has been an error in the decision-making process. The rectification procedure is not intended as a means for receiving feedback or asking for further information about the admissions process.
