Admissions results: Fristående studier i undervisningsämnet musik, spring 2025
Admitted applicants and those placed on the waiting list receive an email of the admissions results on the day when the admission decision is published.
Feedback on the entrance examinations
You may request feedback on your entrance examination performance. The feedback provides you with information on how the evaluation criteria stated in the admission criteria were applied in the assessment of your entrance examination. For feedback, please book an online-meeting with coordinator Eeva-Lotta Paavola (eeva-lotta.paavola@uniarts.fi).
It is possible to get feedback only during the following times:
Tue 29 April 2025 at 8–12am
Wed 30 April 2025 at 8am–2pm
Fri 2 May 2025 at 1–5pm
Admissions decision
The Dean of Sibelius Academy has decided that the following applicants are admitted as students to the Sibelius Academy of Uniarts Helsinki in the spring of 2025:

How to confirm your study place
You need to accept the study place no later than 30 April 2025 at 3pm EEST (Finnish time) or you will lose your place. If the confirmation arrives late, it will not be considered.
If you have a Finnish personal identity code, you can accept the offer of admission using the MyStudyinfo service. If you do not have access to the required methods of identification to use the MyStudyinfo service, contact the Admissions Office via email to siba.musiklararen@uniarts.fi.
If you do not have a Finnish personal identity code, the Studyinfo service will send you an email (sender noreply@opintopolku.fi) with a link to a page where you can choose whether you wish to accept the offered place. You will receive this email within 24 hours of the announcement of admissions results.
After you confirm your study place electronically, you will receive an automatic e-mail notifying you that the study place has been successfully confirmed.
Rectification procedure
If you are dissatisfied with the admissions decision, you can request for rectification of the Dean’s admission decision from Uniarts Helsinki under the Universities Act (558/2009), section 82.
The purpose of a written request for rectification is to give the applicant the possibility to request for rectification if there is a reason to believe that there has been an error in the decision-making process. The admission decision can be corrected only if Sibelius Academy has made an error in the selection procedure and the error justifies the correction of the admission decision.
The rectification procedure is not intended as a means for receiving feedback or asking for further information about the admissions process.
