Online concert: Young Artists of the Winter concert series: Roser Gabriel Pla
The Human Tree, a journey to our inside
We will comply with coronavirus restrictions
Based on an order issued by the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland, the events of the University of the Arts Helsinki have been cancelled for the public until 31 January 2022. We will comply with the Agency’s guidelines, and the concerts will be arranged live in a safe manner as soon as possible.
You can watch a free live stream of the concert on Youtube, 24 January, 19–20.
Let’s imagine for a moment being inside a tree. Do you feel protected or confined by the bark? Do you feel the roots that push you towards the sunlight?
Now, let’s imagine a tree inside us. Does it currently have leaves? Are there fruits growing?
We welcome you to ask these questions with us while giving yourself a moment to feel and above all, breathe!
The Human Tree is created by an exchange of seeds from one forest to another, one culture to another. A music that comes from composing and improvising through collaborative approaches, influenced by folk, world and contemporary music. The Human Tree is an initiative that aims to raise awareness about wellbeing, sustainability through the medium of the arts. Inspired by Nepal, created in Finland and revised and recorded in Catalonia. In December 2021, Roser Gabriel releases her first album with the Human Tree. (Seedmusic.eu)
