Wrap yourself in the immersive stream of sound at the concert by Heli Hartikainen.
Heli Hartikainen’s concert CHRONOVARIATIONS interlaces acoustic and electronic sound and combines minimalist ambience and experimental avant garde. Continuously changing sound fields and variation chains manipulate the perception of the temporal reference point and wrap the listener in an immersive sound stream.
The work was last performed in its entirety at Flow Festival 2022 on The Other Sound X Sun Effects stage, where it was excellently received. The CHRONOVARIATIONS album was recorded binaurally in the St. Henrik Church in Nousiainen in March 2023 and will be published later in 2023.

The concert series presents recent graduates and students of the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki who have excelled in their studies.
