The moments when shadows veil all light play a key role in the concert pieces. The moment when the mind fights to escape the shadows and reach for the light.
The pieces describe the dark, despairing aspects of the mind in dreams, in the witching hour, and the hope for a new dawn.
However, there is still something very beautiful in the shadows, as they say: the brightest spark comes from the darkest shadows
