Composers featuring in the concert come from diverse backgrounds. Defunensemble is the only band focusing on electroacoustic music in Finland.
The thematics of the works performed in the concert relate to the time following the COVID-19 pandemic in different ways: The restrictions are about to be over. There is more freedom and opportunities, while at the same time, culture is perhaps in a more vulnerable position than it has been for a long time. This unbalance in terms of new prospects and the time of uncertainty is one of the starting points for the works.
