Siba Winds and Jukka Myllys: Lumoava yö
Experience an enchanting concert with our symphonic wind ensemble, combining the impressive harmonies of “Nachtmusik” and Hugo Alfvén’s breathtaking “Bergakungen”.
“Nachtmusik” provides the audience with an intense experience, in which a solo English horn plays in dialogue with wind instruments, percussion and double bass. Commissioned by the Pohja Military Band in 2009, the work is brimming with emotion and drama.
After presenting two works for soloists and wind band, the concert will delve into the love story of Hugo Alfvén’s “Bergakungen”, which is full of magic, light and shadow.
