Schubert & Schönberg 

It’s been 150 years since Schönberg was born. Come and listen to his classical works to celebrate the occasion!

The classical works for strings of Franz Schubert & Arnold Schönberg will be performed at the concert under the direction of the legendary Erich Höbarth. 

Arnold Franz Walter Schönberg (1874-1951) was an Austrian composer of classical music.

  • Franz Schubert: String Quintet in C major (D. 956, Op. posth. 163) 
  • Arnold Schönberg: Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night), Op. 4 for String Sextet
