Panel discussion: The Current Challenges and Opportunities of Artistic Research in the “Critical Decade”
We invite you cordially to celebrate the renewed Network for Artistic Research, which has changed its name from CfAR to NfAR (Network for Artistic Research), as the former research centers of Uniarts have merged into the Research Institute’s networks.
The event will bring together a panel of experts from a variety of artistic fields, under the title: “The Current Challenges and Opportunities of Artistic Research in the “Critical Decade”.
There will also be time for informal socialising, toasting and relaxing, as well as an introduction to the new Advisory Group and the relevant contact person.
Programme
- A panel discussion on artistic research, including advanced researchers in literary, performing arts, musical, visual and curatorial artistic research.
- The new responsible person for NfAR, prof. Anita Seppä, along with the new steering group —incl. researcher Alex Areteaga, lecturer Marianne Decoster-Taivalkoski, curator and researcher Nina Liebenberg, Prof. Antti Salminen, and Prof. Leena Rouhiainen—will introduce themselves and outline the preliminary action plan for next year.
- Open discussions, cheerful toasts (the floor is open!), opportunities to meet new people, and informal exchange of ideas about the future activities, etc!
Warmly welcome!
