Outi Tarkiainen is the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra’s theme composer for the 2022-23 season. On Wednesday, March 15 the FRSO gives the premiere of her English concerto Milky Ways (2022), whose title refers both to the astronomical formation as well as to our earliest nourishment and expression of love, mother’s milk.
