Oral history and the history of early music
The Oral History project of the University of the Arts History Forum is organising a seminar in collaboration with the Finnish Oral History Network (FOHN).
The seminar will be held on 24 September 2021 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the concert hall of the Sibelius Academy’s R Building (Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu 9). Oral history is historical information based on people’s personal or communal experiences of past times and issues.
The second seminar day on 25 September 2021 will be organised in cooperation with the Finnish Early Music Association at the Theatre Academy (auditorium 1, Haapaniemenkatu 6). The topics include Finnish early music and the association’s presentation on the history of the arrival of early music in Finland.
