Mutefest: Woven from Vibration
The concert is co-created by students and faculty of the department and showcases a rich palette of creative practises in electronic music making
Flourishing gardens, sparkling memoires, and subtle presence whispered into vibrating spells.
This concert brings together pieces that pay particular attention to environments, the processes of collaboration, a delicate weaving of connections across sonic spaces. The pieces range from a composition for flute and electronics, to the acousmatic journey through an entire continent of sounds, to the exploration of delicate, uncertain processes of gardening with sounds, to laying bare vibrations and resonance with a prepared instrument. The evening is co-created by students and faculty of the department and showcases a rich palette of creative practises in electronic music making.
