Musica nova Helsinki: Äänituhkaa – Sounding Ashes
An interactive sound installation created by music technology students.
The interactive sound installation is based on music composed by the Music Technology students of the University of the Arts. Music combines vocals and live electronic music. The sound material comes largely from the artistic director of Musica nova Helsinki, singer Tuuli Lindeberg.
Simone Spampinato, Þorkell Nordal, Matteo Ferrante, Esther Calderón Morales, Wanqiu Long, Elisa Härmä and teachers professor Jan Schacher, lecturer Marianne Decoster-Taivalkoski, Tuuli Lindeberg and Taavi Oramo.
In collaboration between Sibelius Academy of the University of Arts, Musica nova Helsinki and VocalEspoo.
