Multidisciplinary workshop for researchers and artist-researchers
The “Critical Academy” network at the Uniarts Helsinki Research Institute warmly invites You to participate in a workshop aimed at fostering cross-artistic and cross-disciplinary collaborations that promote more sustainable futures.
Programme
The event will kick off with short, 5-minute presentations from representatives across various research fields addressing the question: Why is it important to promote multidisciplinary science and art cooperation in a “critical decade” – and what are the ways forward?
This interdisciplinary workshop will establish the foundation for environmentally-oriented research connections, enhance the societal impact and renewal of multidisciplinary research and the contemporary critical arts, and help create more porous walls to advance change.
Target Audience
The event is primarily aimed at researchers who have already obtained their doctorate – and are therefore eligible to take on the role of principal investigator (PI) in multidisciplinary projects. Also doctoral candidates, artists and activists are warmly welcome to join!
