Ella Männikkö’s Master’s degree concert “Breathing”
“Welcome to my master concert, where I search my own voice as an artist by discovering the possibilities of different genres and art forms. The program includes the premiere of Tuomas Kettunen’s piece “Breathing”, which Kettunen composed inpired by my blog text. We’ll also play classical persian music with colours from western classical music. At the end a rock band Ursus Factory meets baroque and Jussi gets to quote a renaissance lute composer John Dowland.”

Artistic level performances at Sibelius Academy
Artistic level performances are demonstrations evaluated by assessment committee consisting of teachers, who will provide a versatile picture of the student’s musical and technical skills. The level performances provide the public a chance to see new stars being born and offer a versatile view of our students’ skills.
