Bojana Peković’s master’s degree concert.

Bojana and Kaukolampi are two artists coming from different musical backgrounds, and perspectives of sound listening. Furthermore, two countries, Serbia, and Finland. Through combining centuries old gusle tradition with technology, and electronic sound, they formed a duo in the autumn 2022. As Bojana’s master concert at Global Music department at Sibelius Academy, they look forward to share processes of creation to Helsinki audience. Fluctuating drones, sound processing, storytelling along with the gusle, and the voice will be their base from which they will depart. With guests coming at the end of the concert, a collage of songs from Serbia, and Montenegro will be introduced too.
