Marcelo Politano’s first doctoral concert showcases Politano’s compositions
Watch a free live stream of the concert
Politano’s research delves into the dynamic interplay between performers of folk and classical music within an intercultural environment and the works explore processes of music notation within the realm of intercultural composition.
Collaborative composition efforts unfolded in conjunction with classical and folk musicians from Finland, Estonia, and Brazil with the support of the Sibelius Academy and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
