Ecstatic Awakening: A Journey into Ecstatic Dance is a master’s degree concert that showcases the unique talent and skills of Mikko Heikinpoika, a musician and multi-instrumentalist studying in the Global Music department of Sibelius Academy.

Through his music, Mikko will take the audience on a multi-layered, transformative, embodied journey into the subconsciousness, encouraging audience members to move their bodies, connect with their embodied selves, and awaken their senses to the power of live music and ecstatic dance.
