Renowned percussionist Nana Vasconcelos famously said, ’Voice is the first instrument, body is the best instrument.’ Embracing this philosophy, the project delves into the boundless realms of artistic expression. Through the medium of body percussion, participants explore creativity, rhythms, and enjoyment, while also showcasing the talents of young individuals residing in the vicinity of Helsinki. This vibrant piece, performed by children, will feature collaboration with the esteemed students from Sibelius Academy, further enriching the musical landscape of the performance.”
