A music documentary by Carl Eneroth, SSI Lab, showing the build-up of the “let´s Change The Rules” concert at Musiikkitalo, Helsinki on April 2024 with 1.000 choir singers named Choirs for Ecocide Law.
Choirs for Ecocide Law is an artistic choral project, whose main purpose is to spread awareness about the need to make large-scale environmental destruction (ecocide) an international crime. Led by artistic director Merzi Rajala, the concert took three years in the making, engaging composers, conductors, singers, technicians, volunteers, scientists, potilicians, activists and ultimately the audience in a life-changing experience.
MeWe film won Silver Award for Best Short Documentary at the Paris Film Awards /July 2024

Global Fest 2024 is the 9th edition of an annual festival featuring students, teachers, alumni and special guests representing Sibelius Academy’s Global Music Department. Bringing together artists from many corners of the world, the Global Music Department focusses on intercultural dialogue and collaboration, creating new artistic work together and fostering a sense of global citizenship. Expect a feast of dynamic, innovative, inspiring concerts and pop-up events, featuring performers from around the world celebrating the diversity of our planet.
