Global Fest: Fragments of Love and War
“Fragments of Love and War” crafts a collage of melodies, poetry, and voices
Shafeeq Alsadi is a Palestinian qanunist, singer, and composer. His work is deeply rooted in Arabic music traditions, blending his art with global influences.
“Fragments of Love and War” crafts a collage of melodies, poetry, and voices that interlace stories of identity, loss, and hope. “Fragments of Love and War” is a journey through time and space, from Bethlehem to the world, from the past to the present. This is music born from the confusion of witnessing a home ravaged by war and greed, yet still striving to bring forth beauty.
Joined by fellow artists from diverse corners of the globe, each bringing their unique art and soul to the stage, this performance is an invitation to witness ethereal musical dialogues and to feel the shared pulse of a human experience.
