Girjái is a radical reach towards a decolonial queer utopia. Land back, our rights back. We are still here – and we are still queer.

Working group

Girjái is an attempt to reach towards my own decolonial queer utopia, where I’ve actively thought about loving the BIPOC queer gaze instead of the white cis-het gaze. This performative gathering is dedicated to all my fellow Sámi and BIPOC queer people at all times.
