Experiential Sculpting
What is at stake when the living body is in contact with digitality?
Experiential Sculpting is the first artistic component of Hanna Pajala-Assefa’s doctoral research at Tutke on choreographing emergent corporealities in interactive, mediated performance environments. The installation consists of digital visualisations of movement data collected from case study participants and a spatial audio to ground the spectator to an organic preceptive presence.
The juxtaposed videos are set to convey the modes of thinking, perceiving and forming knowledge, which are at stake when the living body is in contact with interactive technology.
Working group
- Artist researcher: Hanna Pajala-Assefa (Tutke)
- Visual design: Tomi Paijo
- Sound desing: Jaakko Autio
