This event highlights key insights, results, new practices and policy recommendations generated during the multidisciplinary ELLA project.

About ELLA project

The ELLA research project (2021–2024), funded by the Kone Foundation, aims to expand the understanding of language, language learning, learning more broadly, and the intertwining of art with all of these. The project’s goal is to renew pedagogical practices in various learning environments and to stimulate critical discussion on how educational structures can better respond to societal changes. The project’s closing event will present research findings, practices, and policy recommendations.

Accessibility and inclusion

Both the auditorium and the theatre hall are accessible by, e.g., a wheelchair. However, the floor is uneven in the lobby. There is no induction loop in either of the spaces. Read more about the accessibility of the venue on the Uniarts Helsinki website.

The main language of the event is English, but questions and comments in Finnish are welcome.
