Charity concert for the DANA victims
Considered worst than the historical flood of 1957, the current floods caused by the ’DANA’ storm in the valencian metropolitan area have taken more than two hundred lives as well as having at least one hundred more people missing. The amount of water expected for one year fell in a matter of just few hours. The material damage right now is countless as more than 100000 vehicles have been affected, as well as infrastructures like bridges, railways and roads.
From the spanish and the rest of the international students community at Sibelius Academy we would like to raise help for the people in the affected areas since many families and towns will need years to recover.
With your help we can make a perhaps small but needed contribution in order to reduce the consequences of this tragedy. You are all welcome to join us in our concert and give people the help that they need. It is free entry to the concert, but we would appreciate if you made a donation to The Red Cross Spain (Cruz Roja) “Aid affected by Dana floods”-campaign. All donations are voluntary but much appreciated by us performing artists of this concert.
The donations will be optional and done straight to The Red Cross Spain CRUZ ROJA:
