About the artwork
Ultra Bleach Cream is a composed white mess which disrupts the perceived neutrality of the exhibition space. The work consists of stolen, borrowed, and recycled materials and readymade items as well as the presence of two beings fused into one. It reflects upon hierarchies and the structures that perpetuate the white hetero-patriarchal supremacy. Constructed by the power of sentimental squirting, the installation is a simultaneous attempt to protect and to reveal, to pierce a soft puncture into the space. Amid conventions covered in mold, bodies that have set themselves free from the binary are trying to find ways to form a non-violent connection and to seek pleasure in a reality conquered by damaging control.
Defiance makes them naughty.

Biography
nauthey* is a being fused from two whose intertwined practice binds brutal realism and naive dreams together with tight satin ribbons. With the beat of vibrating strap-ons, they are ready to glaze rigid institutional structures with a shiny lube towards a gentle rebellion, a revolution of tenderness.
*nauthey is formed by Nunu Anundi (they/them) graduating as Bachelor of Arts and Ansku Nousiainen (they/them) who has applied to the Academy twice without being admitted.
