Janina Haapanen
About the artist
Janina Haapanen (b.1994, Parainen) is interested in the history of the printed image and the word as well the human need to record time. She is currently examining the presence of the lost and the way the earth acts as an archive of itself. Her works draw parallels between recorded, sometimes forgotten, and geological time. The works are paper-based and may transform into three-dimensional forms when needed.
