Uniarts Helsinki has both on-site and remote entrance examinations in spring 2021
Applicants who are invited to take part in on-site entrance examinations will be sent safety guidelines and instructions before their examinations.
The spring 2021 admissions process is currently ongoing at Uniarts Helsinki for bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. For over half of the bachelor’s and master’s application options available at the university, the entrance examinations will be organised entirely remotely this spring, too. The entrance examination process is remote especially if the application option attracts a lot of international applicants.
But, much like many other Finnish universities, Uniarts Helsinki also arranges on-site entrance examinations. Entrance examinations are arranged in accordance with carefully deliberated safety precautions, and each application option compiles a safety plan for on-site entrance examinations. The plans are approved by Uniarts Helsinki’s preparedness team. The university’s entrance examinations are scheduled for April and May.
Applicants invited to on-site entrance examinations will be sent more detailed safety guidelines and instructions before their entrance examinations. Uniarts Helsinki’s preparedness team has approved the general safety guidelines concerning entrance examinations for spring 2021. When participating in entrance examinations, applicants must also follow the valid national and regional provisions on COVID-19 safety.
Possible new information concerning entrance examination arrangements will be updated on the For applicants page on 16 and 17 March 2021, and the applicants who have made it to the next round will be informed of the changes personally by email.
Uniarts Helsinki’s doctoral education will have a remote admissions process in spring 2021.
Universities Finland UNIFI has published a national media release today stating that universities will organise entrance examinations on site in accordance with strict safety arrangements.
