Prizes and works for collection at Kuvan Kevät 2023
During this year’s Kuvan Kevät exhibition, students have been awarded stipends and had works purchased for public collections.
Stipends
The Anita Snellman Foundation has awarded stipends to Siiri Korhonen, Kolya Kotov, Eeva Lietonen, Laura Lowe, Janne Saarinen and Niina Villanueva.
Every year, the Helsinki Saskia organisation awards a stipend in recognition of one student’s work. Janne Saarinen has been awarded the stipend for 2023.
Acquisitions
The Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma has purchased works from Juliana Hyrri and Baran Caginli.
The Päivi and Paavo Lipponen Collection have purchased works by Sofia Haapamäki and Eeva Lietonen.
HUS Art Committee have purchased works by Sanna Nissinen, Axel Oye, Janne Saarinen and Niina Villanueva
Finnish Art Society have purchased works by Laura Hetemäki, Juliana Hyrri, Eeva Lietonen, Tommi Pasanen, Christine Valtonen ja Niina Villanueva.
