How would you describe yourself as an artist in five words?
Colorful, inclusive, curious, reflective and sensitive.
What does internationality mean to you as a musician?
For me, internationality is an active connection with others around the world, always appreciating and learning from our interaction and shared values. It is also an ability to communicate beyond words, with sounds, looks and gestures of respect and gratitude.
In these exceptional times, we have been talking a lot about the role of the arts in our societies. How do you see that one can deal with social issues through art and music?
It is very amazing to realize how the music can harmonize different atmospheres bringing a deeper connection to the present moment. I always like to have the accordion ready to sound in any kind of situation. We have to be for and with the people who really need some care. Music can reunite people, decrease loneliness, relieve pain and overall bring joy and happiness to our soul. I really think arts are much needed, and have to be more included in social and health care.
